Tax Assistant
Full time, Permanent Role

Accountable Recruitment are currently working with a Practice Firm in Liverpool City Centre who are looking for a Tax Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a Tax Manager who would be a great mentor for you.

• Salary up to £27,000
• Study Support Offered
• 25 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays)
• Flexible on start/finish times

Job Duties:

• Handle tax compliance tasks for personal and trust tax clients.
• Communicate with clients, HMRC, and other relevant parties.
• Assist the tax management team with various tasks, including compliance and advisory work.
• Support with preparing P11D forms and PAYE Settlement Agreements.
• Prepare and submit voluntary disclosures to HMRC.
• Research specific tax legislation topics as needed.

Ideal experience

• A minimum of 1 year working in a similar role
• Excellent IT skills and use of Excel
• Effective communicator
• Ability to meet deadlines and be organised
