Finance Manager / Liverpool / Salary £60,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fully Qualified Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant, to join our client who are a leading business with a great reputation within their sector! Reporting directly into an impressive and experienced Finance Director, you will have a great opportunity to make an impact in this role, and develop further your team management skills.

Your role will be varied and hands on, responsible for:

• Preparation of the month-end management accounts and manage the complete month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance against budgeted and forecasted results. Enhance P&L reporting by implementing advanced commercial reporting techniques, delivering more detailed and actionable insights.
• Analyse financial data to provide strategic insights, enabling informed decision-making by senior leadership.
• Assist the Finance Director in managing ongoing finance projects and driving continuous system enhancements.
• Lead and mentor a small finance team through effective coaching and support.

Key Skills:

• Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Experienced producing management accounts and commercial reporting
• A talent for interpreting financial data, spotting trends, and offering recommendations.
• Eager to gain a comprehensive understanding of your business unit, pricing models, and revenue drivers to boost profitability.
• Ambitious and highly motivated.

This role is permanent, full time, working predominantly office based with some flexibility to WFH. 25 days holiday + bank holidays, plus other great company benefits.
