Accountable Executive is exclusively recruiting for a high calibre Group Finance Director to join a highly acquisitive business during an exciting period of growth and expansion. As the Financial Director, you will serve as a key strategic partner to the Chief Financial Officer and the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of all newly acquired companies and driving a "one system and process" strategy.
  • You will assist with any future acquisitions and integrations.
  • Display strong financial leadership ensuring your finance team produce high quality financial reporting and commercial management information.
  • Lead the implementation of the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall organisational goals.
  • Be a key player within the senior leadership team to ensure costs, margins and operational performance is optimised.
  • Oversee financial risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, collaborating with department heads to create comprehensive budgets.
  • Provide insightful analysis on performance including explanation and actions required to negate any variances.
  • Manage and optimise cash flow to support daily operations, capital investments, and growth initiatives
  • Manage external professional service relationships.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Must be a qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role within a large, complex and operational focussed environment.
  • Demonstrate your experience of integrating sizable acquisitions into your core business processes.
  • Strong ERP and system knowledge.
  • Showcase your experience of improving and streamlining financial process and performance.
  • Played a key role within an SLT driving growth, profitability and value.

Remuneration

  • £135,000 to £155,000 plus benefits including an annual and long term bonus scheme.
