Part-time Management Accountant
St Helens
£30,000 (For 22.5 / 3 days a week)


An entrepreneurial business, based in St Helens, are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant who wants to work part time.

This business is one of the largest in the UK, in their field, and are a UK wide organisation.
They are constantly evolving and growing so are looking for someone who is a strong management accountant, that is interested in a varied position that has opportunities for development further down the line.

The business is happy to consider applications from qualified accountants and QBE.

Ideally looking for someone who has worked in an SME business before in a varied finance position.

As Management Accountant your role will involve:

• Responsibility for the day to day finances of the business
• Preparing invoices, journals, preparing management accounts, budgets/forecasts
• Providing reporting and commentaries to the MD.
• Prepare VAT, HMRC submissions etc
• Liaise with the external accountants quarterly
• Using Quickbooks

To apply for the position you will ideally be:

• Fully Qualified ideal, but open to QBE
• Have a broad / varied accounts experience gained within an SME environment
• Comfortable working in a fairly stand-alone role.
• Looking for a role working within an owner managed, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• This role could go full-time in the future as the business grows

This business is ideally looking if someone can work Monday / Wednesday and Fridays
