Accountable Executive are recruiting for a Finance Director for one of our amazing charity sector clients based in Liverpool. As Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in not only providing sound financial reporting and governance but also provide key metrics and analysis to be able to measure the positive social impact the organisation has within the community.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Provide expert advice to the CEO, SLT and Board across the full range of the finance function, ensuring best practice solutions to meet the evolving needs of the charity.
• Lead your finance team and produce high quality financial and management reporting.
• Cash management, forecasting, planning, budgeting.
• Provide insight and analysis of the financial and operational performance against the set commercial plan in order to drive continual improvement.
• Ensure the charity complies with all regulatory and tax requirements.
• Data analysis and insightful report production to identify performance levels for both financial targets and the organisations social mission plan.
• Act as a key business partner across the senior management team.
• Work closely with the IT Business Partner to ensure the organisation has a clear and realistic technology roadmap that is integral to, and aligned with, all of the key projects.

About the successful applicant:

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant.
• You will have a collaborative and proactive outlook and be comfortable working with senior stakeholders delivering financial information with succinct and commercial delivery.
• Will possess a passion and enthusiasm for making a difference and changing peoples lives.
• Demonstrate your strong IT and data analysis skills.
• Showcase your experience in successfully driving improvements across financial, operational and commercial areas.
