An established business, who have an excellent reputation in the local area, are currently recruiting for an ambitions Qualified Accountant to join the finance team.

This award-winning business is looking for a qualified practice mover, with a strong background in Audit, to join the business as Reporting / Financial Accountant. Reporting into an impressive Group FC, you will enjoy a broad role which will see you liaising with the wider business, invovled in various projects alongside the strong technical account's role.

As Technical / Financial Accountant your role will involve:

• Main support to the Financial Controller
• Statutory reporting - production of financial statements and coordination of statutory audit
• Affiliates reporting
• Support in monthly P&L, B/S and Cash Flow statement production
• Consolidation
• Assist on direct tax compliance to coordinate with tax advisers on timely submission of Corporation Tax computations.
• Balance sheet substantiation and key controls
• Assisting with ongoing change management initiatives
• Key finance liaison with Invoice Finance business, producing results for IF business and ensuring a strong control environment as the business scales up
• Support to FP&A in financial modelling for the business
• Coordination of audits
• Lead role in implementation of new finance and AP system

To apply for the position, you must:

• Be a Newly qualified accountant (1-2 years PQE) - from Audit
• Have experience of core financial accounting and UK GAAP skillset
• Be experience in corporate tax & VAT including partial exemption (
• Have experience of Consolidations
• Have good attention to detail and ability to reconcile data sets and cashflows.
• Be confident in excel with modelling capability.
• Be able to work flexibly with a desire to work in a fast growing and quick moving environment.
