Group Financial Controller / North-West (Hybrid) / Permanent / Salary circa £100,000 - £110,000

Accountable Recruitment are working with a market leading Financial Services organisation, who are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller, with strong leadership skills to join their growing team.

Reporting to an impressive and highly experienced CFO, this experienced Group Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and providing strategic and financial guidance to the Executive team. This role will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of the organisation.

The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of financial accounting and control, asset valuations, systems and change projects.

• Lead and develop all aspects of the financial control framework, ensuring efficient systems, controls and processes for the group to support the maintenance of the group's accounting records and external and internal financial reporting requirements.
• Lead and develop annual report and accounts output ensuring content keeps pace with best in class.
• Lead and develop the investment accounting valuation function to ensure fair valuation of scheme assets to support external reporting, internal decision making, hedging and asset management compensation processes.
• Main finance point of contact providing support for exec and non-exec governance.
• Lead contact for external audit partner.
• You will lead change activity across finance including systems, process and controls to optimise efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• As an experienced leader, you will manage a team of finance professional s, providing leadership, guidance and development opportunities.

Key skills:

• ACA Qualified, with relevant experience working within the financial services industry.
• Senior experience gained from within either Practice or Industry will be considered.
• Strong Leadership skills, experienced managing and leading a team of experienced finance professionals.
• Confident and credible communicator, comfortable liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
