Accountable Recruitment are working with a forward thinking, dynamic organisation based in Birkenhead for a Management Accountant on an interim basis. This organisation has exciting times ahead and is about to go on a period of growth.

As management accountant you will be responsible for ensuring the monthly management accounts are produced in a timely manner.

Key day to day duties will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Profit and loss analysis
- Variance analysis and commentaries for internal and external use
- Reconcile spending with budgets and forecasts
- NL journals including accrual and prepayments
- Analyse financial performance and forecast longer term horizons
- Monitor and evaluate financial information systems and suggest improvements where needed
- Advise company and/or department management on financial decisions
- Oversee relevant month end close procedures including reviewing AP and AR
