Immediate Start - IT Manager! Based just outside Chester// Permanent position // Up to £50,000

I'm currently seeking an experienced IT Manager to support my clients' network, cyber security, and IT systems whilst also providing helpdesk support to all areas of the business. The role involves the delivery and compliance with industry recognised security standards.


This is a permanent position with great benefits:


The duties of the role include:


-Provide technical support to end users.
-Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
-Manage 3rd party vendor relationships.
-Manage telco account, including support for telephony and internetworking connectivity.
-Provide Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory administration and support.
-Maintain Microsoft operating systems and security systems used to support and protect the network.
-Monitor network usage and ensuring maximum uptime.
-Perform and maintain routine backups and archival of data.
-Develop and deliver robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
-Produce documentation for all information and business systems.
-Manage and support network printers.
-DNS and SSL management.
-Maintain and adhere to industry recognised cyber security standards.


The experience required for this role includes:

-Windows desktop and server support: Must have strong Windows OS troubleshooting and support experience.
-Internetworking proficiency: Must be able to manage and administer firewall / switches / routers and Wireless APs.
-Project Management: Excellent handling of time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines.
-Cyber Security: Understand cyber threat landscape and know how to develop countermeasures and protect the network from common attacks.
-Cloud Computing. Ability to manage Virtual Machines in the Azure cloud.
-Microsoft 365. Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 platform services, covering Azure Identity Protection, Device management, Security and Compliance.
