An established, award-winning business based in the St Helens area is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant / Finance Manager to join its busy finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business as Management Accountant, to be the lead accountant on a number of entities within the business, covering all aspects of Management Accounts, reporting and financial management.

This is an fantastic opportunity to join a business who is an 'investor in people' and enjoy excellent on-site facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of quarter end financial statements
• Compilation of the quarter end management accounts pack
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Dealing with recharges across the business
• Overseeing the entities bookkeeping entries
• Assisting with management information reporting
• VAT/CIS returns
• Providing external auditors with information and handling queries

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant; CIMA, ACCA, ACA
• Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work using your own initiative and manage your own time effectively
• High level of attention to detail
• A strong technical and practical working knowledge of management accounts
