Financial Accountant
Chester - Hybrid Working
£45,000 + bonus

A high-growth business in Chester is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant (1st mover from Practice) who is looking for a move into a high-growth, commercial company who has a keen eye for detail and has strong, statutory accounts production skills.
You will ensure internal and external reporting is provided on time, to a high standard.

As Financiaal Accountant your role will involve:

• Support the production of the Group consolidation and associated consolidated Statutory Accounts
• Support the production of the international consolidation and associated consolidated Statutory Accounts.
• Support and produce Statutory Accounts for the Group companies, Specialist Operator, and International division.
• Produce tax packs for the Group Companies and liaise with Tax advisors to ensure Tax computations are ready for audit and filing.
• Support and ensure the Consolidated Statutory accounts comply with the BVCA requirements and are moving towards Statutory accounts ready for a company moving towards Initial Public Offering (IPO).
• Support the production of month end reporting of Group companies
• Support production of month end finance report issued to the Board
• Support the quarterly and annual reporting to our Private Equity Investors
• Support the Group reporting of the Specialist Operator and International divisions
• Liaise with divisions to ensure accounting policy manual is kept up to date and is updated for any new acquisitions
• Support divisions with control documentation for Tax and finance risks and ensure they are kept up to date.
• Ensure robust group controls over divisional reporting are in place and are operating effectively
• Support and ensure biannual reviews of the tax risk register
• Support external audit requirements
• Work and support the existing team with projects, other aspects of financial reporting and internal audit requirements

• Be nearly or newly ACA / ACCA qualified
• Be working within Big 4 / Top 10 / Regional Accountancy firm
• Have strong statutory accounts experience
• Be ambitious and looking to climb the ladder
