Finance Operations Manager / Liverpool, Hybrid Homeworking / Salary £45000 - £50,000

An interesting opportunity for an experienced Finance Operations Manager, looking to join a recognised organisation within a developing sector based in Liverpool. Offering up to £50,000, this Finance Operations Manager role offers the right candidate a chance to join a growing and innovative team, looking to improve and transform their current processes within the transactions and processing team.

The Role:

Reporting directly into an impressive Head of Finance Operations, your role will be broad and varied, working to streamline and improve processes within this high-volume transaction finance environment.

  • You will be a key member of the team, responsible for the smooth operation and development of financial processes, systems, and reporting models for the central finance department.
  • This will include the opportunity to play a key role in the new ERP implementation project team early next year.
  • This role will be fluid and varied, where you will use your problem-solving skills, able to interrogate data analytics and business intelligence to deliver accuracy and transparency across finance operations.
  • You will implement improved KPI monitoring for transaction finance teams including performance dashboards.
  • You will be a strong and flexible communicator, forming partnerships across the business, promoting service levels & exceeding expectations

About You:

As the new Financial Operations Manager, you will:

  • Have previous experience working within a shared service environment or be familiar with all elements of the end-to-end life cycle of financial transaction processing
  • Be a strong and flexible communicator, able to build excellent relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and implementing lean processes
  • The ability to work under pressure and achieve reporting deadlines
  • Strong system skills including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

Skills required:

  • AAT, part qualified or QBE
  • Previous experience implementing change and establishing continual improvement.
  • A proactive and flexible, 'can do' attitude
