Sales Ledger Clerk

Salary - £26,000

Accountable Recruitment are currently looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join a fantastic company who offer excellent benefits.

The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience in start to end Sales ledger maintenance, working in a fast - paced environment. You will have the chance to join the Finance team for a excellent company and the opportunity to learn more than the admin side of role.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To agree charges and raise invoices promptly and accurately for non-standard charges.
  • To agree charges and raise invoices promptly and accurately for demurrage charges.
  • To raise weekly, monthly and adhoc sundry charges.
  • To use customer portals to gain invoice payment as required.
  • To perform reconciliations ensuring all costs have been captured.
  • Produce reports as required.
  • Liaise with colleagues and customers to resolve any queries or issues.

Competencies:

  • Sales ledger experience preferred
  • AAT (studying or qualified) preferable but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills - verbal & written
  • Attention to detail, organised and methodical approach
  • A completer / finisher
  • A team player
  • High level of accuracy
  • An aptitude for IT - experience using Microsoft Office products
