Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a market leading company in their search for a experienced Payroll Officer. This role offers the opportunity to help in the delivery of new systems and is perfect for someone looking to make the role their own.

Key duties:

  • Creation and maintenance of employee records ensuring accurate records are held for audit and
  • Calculation of SSP, SMP and SPP and issuing of P45 and P60 notices
  • Logging employee time and attendance and supporting workers in completing timesheets
  • Administer bi-monthly payroll for temporary and permanent staff members
  • Answer employee queries on employment contracts and pension
  • Ensuring procedures are accurately recorded and maintained

The successful candidate will be:

  • Experienced in payroll with an understanding on GDPR, Data Protection and employee confidentiality
  • An enthusiastic, pro-active attitude, determined to get things done
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate records are held
  • Strong Excel skills with experience in formulas, v-lookups and pivot tables
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to show initiative and manage own workload
