£24,000 - £28,000 dependant on experience


Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fast growing company in their search for a Senior Accounts Assistant. Working alongside their existing, friendly team you will benefit from mentorship from the CFO and fantastic benefits.

Package:

  • Hybrid working after initial training period
  • 33 days holidays plus a bonus day off for your birthday

Key duties:

  • Maintenance of the purchase and sales ledger including credit control
  • Posting and raising invoices and credit notes
  • Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Month end journals and statement reconciliation
  • Liaising internally to manage transactional upkeep
  • Assisting with the management accounts and month end processes

The successful candidate will be:

  • Excellent attention to detail as accuracy is key to the maintaniance of the ledgers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to show initiative and manage own workload
  • Good excel skills including the use of formulas, v-look ups and pivot tables
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and process
  • Experience of Sage would be a good advantage
