Finance Manager / Permanent role / Ormskirk / £45,000 - £50,000

Accountable Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Fully Qualified Finance Manager to join our client's growing team based in Ormskirk. In this role, you will report directly into an experienced part-time Finance Director, where you will play a lead role in managing the day-to-day finances. You will be responsible for managing a small team of 2, supporting their on-going development.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for preparing month-end management accounts including all postings and balance sheet reconciliations. You will review supplier invoices, cash flow forecasting, and supervise weekly banking.

You will be a confident communicator, able to prepare board papers and present financial results to Group Finance. You will be pro-active and able to liaise well with Head of Departments to understand, support and challenge, ensuring budgets are managed.

Managing a small finance team (2) your role will be hands on, and we are looking for candidates who are experienced and thrive working within a hands-on SME role. You will be committed and driven to continue adding value in this role, improving finance processes and systems where necessary.

Key skills:

  • Fully/Part Qualified (CIMA, ACCA/ACA)
  • Experienced working within a fast-paced, SME environment
  • Well-rounded experience
