People Operations Advisor

Opportunity for a CIPD L5 Study support


Accountable Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Human Resources Officer to join anestablished SME with exciting plans for further growth. Our Liverpool based client is looking to recruit an aspiring generalist to help and support the Human Resource Business Partner reshape and reform the HR function in support of their new people plan.
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking for a fast-paced environment in a role that is extremely varied and rewarding.
Responsibilities include:

  • Actively support the People Operations function with projects and change initiatives as directed
  • Support the effective operation of all HR administration throughout the full employee life cycle
  • HR system management, configuration and improvement to support people processes and streamline ways of working, including onboarding new starters, performance management and recruitment
  • Support management with employee relations cases as required
  • Manage Essentials user queries and provide training where needed
  • Utilise the system reporting feature to provide key management information
  • Support in the design and implementation of current and new policies and procedures
  • Design and help to deliver line manager training on key people practices and processes


Skills Required:

  • Skills, Experience and Education Required

    · 2-3 years' experience in a HR Generalist role

    · Strong understanding of employment law and experiencing of handling employee relations cases

    · Minimum CIPD Level 3 required; CIPD Level 5 would be advantageous (or equivalent demonstrated experience)

    · Able to demonstrate confident, professional communication skills

    · Experience of supporting business change and stakeholder management

    · A confident Microsoft Excel user, who is comfortable managing data and presenting this in a report format

    · Experience of delivering training would also be an advantage
