Accountable Recruitment are working with a growing not for profit organisation based on the outskirts of Liverpool City Centre for a Management Accountant on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

As Management Accountant you will provide support to the Department Head to contribute to the overall delivery of accountancy services and to make a proactive contribution to developing and improving services and financial support provided to the group.
Key day to day duties will include:

  1. - Production, commentary and analysis of the monthly management accounts for the group and subsidiaries.
  2. - Provide financial support to operational teams and be a key contact for front line services, including monthly review meetings and budget holder support.
  3. - To be responsible for incorporating production of performance indicators.
  4. - In year budget management including feedback and review.
  5. - Annual budget setting and liaising with staff throughout the group.
  6. - Assist with the preparation of the group and subsidiary financial statements and to provide supporting schedules required to assist internal and external audits.
  7. - To provide comprehensive sound financial information / advice to internal / external stakeholders.
  8. - To contribute to the maintenance of development of longer term business planning information.
  9. - To contribute to and act upon Corporation Tax / VAT planning activities.
  10. - VAT accounting.
  11. - Asset accounting.

Successful candidates must:
- Have previous experience in management accounts position
- Be part or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Be available for the full contract
