Immediate Start // Hybrid working // £50-60,000


Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will have full ownership and responsibility for the financial accounting and controls for several business units. This Finance Manager will also be able to impress in supporting the implementation of a new ERP system, all whilst working in an outstanding shared service finance team within a people centric, global business.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for all accounting entries in several business units
  • The preparation and validation of monthly financial statements
  • Responsible for the completion or review of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Submission of half yearly reporting packs to the group finance function
  • Management of a small team of trainee accountants and supporting their development in the finance graduate program
  • Maintaining and reviewing internal controls and processes to identify and address weaknesses
  • Preparation of monthly cashflow and foreign exchange exposure forecasts.
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system

Desired Skills/qualifications/Experience:
-Qualified Accountant - e.g. ACA, ACCA or CIMA

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel

-Good working knowledge of ERP systems

  • Managerial experience - ideally of trainee accountants
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication with the ability to work as a team and on own initiative
