Accountable recruitment are supporting their client in their recruitment of a Payroll Officer. The candidate will be organised and motivated candidate with some previous experience and wanting to join a growing team as the company go through numerous exciting acquisitions.

Location: Warrington area

Role: Payroll officer

Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)

Benefits: On-site canteen / 25 days holiday / modern offices / study support and progression paths

Key duties of the role :

• Checking, collating and processing timesheets
• Start to end monthly payroll for a high number of staff
• Use of Sage Payroll on a daily basis
• Dealing with queries and complications professionally and in a timely manner
• Calculation of sick pay / maternity pay / holiday pay
• Data inputting and manual calculations

The right candidate :

• Use of Sage desirable
• Some exposure to payroll function necessary
• Will work well in a vibrant team / office environment
• Excel skills
• Likes a challenge and works well to deadlines
