At Accountable recruitment we have a great opportunity for a Credit Administrator in the St. Helens area. This is a permanent position for a market leading company
Salary £19,000 - £22,000 depending on experience // Full time // 37.5 flexible working hours //
Duties will include :-
- Assessment of all accounts for credit facilities & agreement of limit based on Credit Search, external information relative to required level of trade & internal information where applicable such as payment behaviour
- Performing Credit Checks & preparing proposals documenting the background to allow a decision by the Team to be made swiftly
- Ensuring Credit limits & actions are authorised in line with Delegation of Authority & Group Credit Policy
- Highlight high risk and strict watch accounts to ensure they trade to an agreed maximum, monitoring and reducing our exposure
- Liaising with Credit Control, Sales and Litigation teams to form proposals prior to a decision/ recommendation being made
- Confident decision maker
- Analysing financial data such as balance sheets, P&L, cash flows & forecast's
- Updating any amendments to static customer/supplier data including change of name, address and bank details whist following authorisation policies
- Management of team mailboxes and responding to general enquiries
Key things-
- Someone who can make quick decisions
- Analyse financial data
- Can perform calls/follow ups
- Someone from a financial background - so maybe banking/admin type role?
