Accountable Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant based in Chester for a well known organisation on a 10 month fixed term contract.

Salary: £23,000
Hybrid working pattern

Duties:

  • Administration of supply invoices in line with company processes
  • Weekly pay run
  • Responding to internal expense queries
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Sorting through accounts payable post
  • Cash allocation
  • Admin and ad hoc duties
  • Requesting and reconciling supplier statements
  • Escalate any overdue accounts
  • Ensure quality VAT returns and payments are issued on time

Essential skills needed:

  • Experience working within all aspects of excel
  • Excellent attention to detail with experience of working towards deadlines
  • An ambitious individual who wants to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Nav or Business Central desirable

Company benefits:

  • 40 hours per week. Core hours of work are 8.30-5pm, Monday-Friday
  • Possibility of home working up to two days per week
