Senior Accountant / Liverpool / Permanent role / £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)

Accountable Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our client who are a growing SME business based in Liverpool. In this newly created role you will be reporting directly into an experienced Head of Finance where your role will be broad and varied:

  • Line management responsibility of 1 Accounts Assistant
  • You will prepare financial reports, MI analysis, and provide detailed summaries.
  • Assist producing monthly financial reporting packs including management accounts and report
  • Revenue analysis and comparison to forecast
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures
  • Support the annual audit
  • Working with the head of finance on ad hoc projects

Key Skills:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, process improvement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Qualified/Part-Qualified or QBE
