Accountable Recruitment are looking for a Payroll Clerk on behalf of a reputable company based on the Wirral. You'll be working directly with the payroll manager who will offer support, further training if necessary and flexibility with hours.

This role sports a hybrid working pattern (2 days minimum required in office).


Salary: up to £25,000
Contract: Full time, Permanent


What you will be doing:

  • Accurate processing of payroll
  • Complete payroll reports for different departments
  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in payroll records.
  • Ensuring that processes are compliant with aspects such as minimum wage, HMRC submissions etc
  • Setting up new starters


What we're looking for:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • 1 years experience in a payroll position
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Good attention to detail
