You'll work directly with the Managing Director, acting as a trusted commercial partner and driving clarity around business performance, growth opportunities, and investment decisions. The Role

As Commercial Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial insight and driving improved performance across the business. You'll own the end-to-end production and analysis of financial information, ensuring reporting is not just accurate - but meaningful and actionable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and analyse monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
• Partner with the Managing Director and operational leaders to shape budgets and forecasts
• Conduct variance analysis and translate financial data into strategic recommendations
• Develop and maintain financial models for pricing, margin analysis, and investment appraisals
• Manage the fixed asset register
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance control and efficiency
• Support new projects, product launches, and capital investment cases
• Provide mentoring and support to junior finance team members

What You'll Bring

• Fully qualified CIMA accountant (or equivalent)
• Strong commercial acumen with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders, including MD level
• Excellent financial modelling and Excel/Power BI skills
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly and with impact
