This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on group consolidation, balance sheet integrity, and cash flow management within a dynamic, fast-moving business that's continuing to grow and evolve.

This high-growth, European business is seeking an Audit trained, ACA qualified accountant to join them as Financial Reporting Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping robust financial processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the integration of new acquisitions. You'll combine technical expertise with a hands-on approach, acting as the subject matter expert across group reporting, cash flow, and treasury management.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the consolidation of group accounts and manage group reporting cycles.
  • Own cash flow forecasting and treasury management, ensuring clarity and control.
  • Oversee the invoice discounting facility and maintain strong working capital discipline.
  • Build and maintain robust financial processes with clear segregation of duties.
  • Coach and develop accounting team members to reach their full potential.
  • Manage VAT and corporation tax requirements.
  • Take ownership of debtor days, aged debt, CapEx, fixed assets, and insurance.
  • Partner closely with auditors, tax advisers, banks, and fund providers.
  • Ensure timely filing of annual accounts and complete all balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the financial integration of acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions.

About you

  • ACA qualified (essential)
  • Audit trained; ideally Top 10
  • Experienced in group consolidation and reporting within a multi-site environment.
  • A confident people developer who enjoys coaching and supporting others.
  • Commercially astute, analytical, and able to balance detail with the bigger picture.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
  • Trustworthy and professional, maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards.
  • Willing to occasionally travel or stay overnight to collaborate with colleagues and management.
