Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Liverpool City Centre
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

About the Role
We are delighted to be supporting a leading business in Liverpool City Centre with the recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic industry where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing accurate and timely management information, supporting commercial decision-making, and helping to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Providing financial insight to operational managers to help maximise profitability
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement
• Preparing weekly sales, margin, and labour reports
• Liaising with non-finance teams to improve understanding of financial performance
• Assisting with year-end processes and external audit requirements

About You:

• Part qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience within the hospitality, leisure, or retail sector is highly desirable
• Strong management accounts and reporting background
• Commercially focused with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator who can build relationships with non-finance colleagues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
