We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team, providing financial insight and leadership to support decision-making and drive performance across complex, time-critical projects.
About the Role
This is a high-impact role where you'll act as a trusted advisor to operational and project teams. You'll combine strong technical accounting skills with commercial acumen to deliver accurate reporting, financial analysis, and recommendations. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll need to adapt quickly, prioritise effectively, and provide clarity in the midst of challenging deadlines.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with project and operational teams to support business performance and delivery of fast-moving projects.
- Provide accurate, timely management reporting and financial insight to enable key decision-making.
- Manage month-end and year-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Prepare statutory and management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Produce financial statements (P&L, cash flows, variance analysis, commentaries).
- Drive improvements to financial processes to keep pace with a dynamic business environment.
- Oversee capital expenditure and ensure financial compliance across projects.
- Deliver commercial analysis on margins, pricing, and project performance.
- Support VAT reporting and submissions.
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or QBE with equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in supporting operational businesses with fast-paced, project-driven demands.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insight.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills - confident working with both finance and non-finance teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with Dimensions, CSAM, Focal Point, or Power BI (advantageous but not essential).
Why Apply?
- Join a business experiencing significant growth and undergoing a period of exciting transformation.
- Work at the heart of fast-paced, high-value projects, partnering with operational teams to drive performance and influence outcomes.
- Gain real visibility across the business and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop highly sought-after commercial and strategic skills in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Enjoy variety and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the business.
If you're on the look out for a role in thriving business with big plans this is the role for you. You will be instrumental and fundamental to the business in it's period of growth.
