A Top 20 Firm with an ambitious frowth plan are looking for a driven and experienced Audit Senior to join their growing Liverpool office, paying a salary of £40,000 - £47,000 depending upon experience. As an Audit Senior, you'll work closely with dynamic owner-managed businesses, groups, and high-growth SMEs across a wide range of sectors. You'll be involved in audits from planning to completion and play a key role in supporting junior team members.

Audit Senior Responsibilities:

  • Leading audit assignments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Planning and executing audits for clients with turnovers typically ranging from £10m to £100m+

  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts

  • Liaising directly with clients, providing high levels of service and advice

  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

  • Working closely with managers and partners to deliver complex assignments

As an Audit Senior you will have:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong audit experience)

  • Experience in a UK accountancy practice with audit exposure

  • Good working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
