A Top 20 Firm with offices in Manchester are looking for an Audit Senior to join their expanding Corporate Audit team, paying a salary of £38,000 - £44,000 depending upon experience and level.

The Corporate Audit team in Manchester work with a variety of corporate and owner managed businesses, charities and other not for profit organisations. Clients range from start-ups to well established, prestigious clients and listed clients. They are looking for an Audit Senior (newly qualified or qualified senior or due to qualify) to join their team and develop their expereince. This is a challenging and vareid role that will provide lots of opportunity for growth.

You will be responsible for the delivery of client based assignments, ensuring the team's audit work and reporting is of high quality. This role will include leading and coaching team members as well as managing relationships with clients.

To be successful as an Audit Senior you will......

  • Be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Significant auditing and accounting experience (ideally UKGAAP)
  • Have a passion for delivering high quality client service

Your responsibilities as an Audit Senior will include......

  • Be the point of contact for clients on a day to day basis demonstrating excellent writing, research and presentation skills
  • Assisting in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for manager or partner review
  • Managing risk
  • Identifying areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes and possible recommendations and prepare and deliver Audit Findings Reports to be provided to the client
  • Taking primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, and when the actual differs from the budget then gain a full understanding for the Manager
