Accountable Recruitment are partnering with a high growth manufacturing company based in Wrexham to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager.


This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience who has developed strong commercial analysis and business partnering experience and is now looking for a role where they can have genuine influence.


You will work closely with Commercial, Sales and Operations, providing financial insight and challenge needed to improve performance, protect margins and support future investment decisions. Reporting into a commercially focused CFO, you'll have the opportunity to move beyond traditional reporting and become a key finance partner to the wider business.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Commercial, Sales and Operations, providing insight, challenge and recommendations.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
  • Deliver meaningful variance analysis, identifying key commercial drivers.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, scenario planning and business cases.
  • Monitor KPIs, margins and commercial performance, highlighting risks, opportunities and areas requiring action.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and deliver margin improvement and cost optimisation opportunities.
  • Support strategic decision-making, translating financial information into clear, commercially focused recommendations.

Skills Required:

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
  • Proven experience in a commercial finance / business partnering.
  • The confidence to influence, challenge and constructively push back with senior non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an ability to understand the operational drivers behind financial performance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear commercial insight.
  • Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, modelling and performance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and large data sets.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and the credibility to operate with senior stakeholders
