Ready to step into a role where your insight genuinely shapes business decisions?
We're looking for a commercially minded Senior Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, multi-site UK business. This is more than just reporting - it's about owning key financial areas, influencing senior stakeholders, and helping drive performance across the organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Management Accounting, you'll take real ownership of P&L areas, lead month-end reporting, and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning. You'll also have the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen controls and help develop the team around you.
If you're ambitious, proactive and ready for more responsibility - this is your move.
What You'll Be Doing
Own and manage key P&L areas, delivering clear, actionable performance insights
Lead month-end close with accuracy and confidence
Produce and present meaningful management information to senior stakeholders
Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
Partner with finance and operational leaders across the business
Support statutory reporting, audit and compliance
Identify and implement process improvements
Coach and develop junior team members
What We're Looking For
Experience in management accounting (ideally within a large or multi-site business)
Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA with 3+ years' relevant experience
Strong Excel skills (Sage experience a bonus)
Organised and confident managing multiple deadlines
Commercially aware, analytical and solutions-focused
Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
What's In It For You
£50,000-£55,000 salary + study support
Hybrid working
Clear progression and leadership development opportunities
Enhanced family benefits
Wellbeing, mental health and financial support programmes
Pension, life assurance and lifestyle benefits
Generous staff discounts and reward schemes
If you're looking for a role where you can make an impact - not just produce reports - we'd love to hear from you.
