The opportunity

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join a well established Financial Services business at an exciting point in its journey. The role offers genuine progression, creative freedom and exposure across all levels of the organisation, working on a wide range of interesting and high-impact projects.
You'll play a critical role in supporting commercial decision-making, shaping financial insight and helping drive both organic growth and acquisition integration. This is a varied and visible role, ideal for someone who enjoys operating across strategy and detail in a complex, evolving environment.

The role

Reporting into the central finance function, you will partner closely with the Commercial Director and senior management teams to deliver high-quality financial insight, robust forecasting and meaningful performance analysis.
Given the pace of growth and ongoing acquisition activity, the role requires someone comfortable navigating complexity - moving seamlessly from strategic thinking to granular P&L analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

  • Financial business partnering across multiple integrated and non-integrated businesses

  • Ownership of annual budgets and quarterly forecasting cycles

  • Supporting business acquisition integrations and post-acquisition reporting

  • Managing, developing and improving central FP&A Excel models

  • Supporting full P&L reviews and reporting to the Executive Board, private equity stakeholders and financial partners

  • Producing month-end reporting packs, presentations and insight

  • Acting as a key link between Management Accounting and FP&A

  • Supporting and improving the use of business systems, including Power BI

  • Driving consistency and standardisation of reporting, performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting

  • Supporting data cleanse and data quality improvement initiatives

  • Implementing and maintaining robust processes and controls

  • Delivering ad-hoc commercial analysis and project support

  • Building strong, collaborative relationships across Commercial, Operations, Marketing, IT and other functions

  • Identifying and implementing improved ways of working to enhance efficiency, quality and timeliness

About you

You'll be a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys variety in your work. You'll be confident engaging senior stakeholders, comfortable challenging constructively, and motivated by delivering high-quality outcomes.
You will:

  • Be naturally analytical, inquisitive and commercially focused

  • Have excellent Excel skills

  • Be a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership

  • Be confident influencing and challenging stakeholders

  • Enjoy working both independently and collaboratively

  • Be comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels

  • Have excellent communication skills, particularly in a largely remote setting

  • Be resilient, flexible and tenacious
